Two ways you can help
1) Exchange your old, broken or unwanted silver, platinum or gold for CASH and we will make a donation to TWF. YOU WILL RECEIVE the full fair market value for your items AND TWF will also receive a contribution.
2) Donate an item of silver, platinum or gold and we will contribute, on your behalf, the full fair market value to TWF Even a broken necklace or one earring will help and be greatly appreciated.

A senior's wish for new dentures is being granted by West Penn Dental Center!

A senior wishes to visit her son one more time. He is in prison in central PA. Along with individual donations, and Mobility Works donating a rental wheelchair van, this wish will be granted on May1.

Jane has been gradually losing her sight. Janes's daughter wrote to us and said it's "heartbreaking to see her frustrated over losing her independence. Jane's daughter submitted a wish for a device that will scan documents, such as bills that come in the mail, and read them out loud to her mother. We are very close to granting this wish with a sponsorship from Home instead Senior Care, South Hills and Washington offices, fundraising efforts, and donations.

Western Pa Chapter Meetings
If you, or your organization would like to learn more, host a meeting, or get involved with the Western Pa. Chapter of Twilight Wish, please contact us, or plan to attend the next chapter meeting. Meetings are held monthly in several counties and locations rotate to different areas. Many opportunities to help exist, even if you can't attend every meeting!

We welcome volunteers from all counties to participate on a committee. Depending on the committee, you may be able to help by just making a few occassional phone calls, or by submitting information to event calendars by email. Many times, if a committee needs to meet, it may be by conference call so that volunteers can save time and don't need to travel.
To join a committe, or for more information, contact the Chapter Director, Cheryl Nemanic, at 724-712-5655.
Fundraising - this committee does fundraiser and event planning, and assists in implementing the events.
Wish Granting - this committee assists with making phone calls or writing letters to potential sponsors, coordinating with families & wish recipients, and following through on wish granting activities. ( Ideally, we would like to have at least 2 people focused on each current wish.)
PR - this committee assists with sending out press releases to the media and submitting our meeting and activity information to local newspapers and event calendars.
Speakers - this committee represents our Twilight Wish Chapter by speaking or attending meetings and events that we are invited to.
